“Anthony unexpectedly appears in his classmate’s room to seek her help in completing a project on the night before it is due. Through an emotionally tumultuous journey, Anthony and Caroline delve into the mysteries of Walt Whitman‘s “Leaves of Grass”, unaware that something deeper has brought them together.

I AND YOU won the 2014 ATCA/Steinberg New Play Award and was a Susan SmithBlackburn Prize finalist. The play, directed by Seth Gordon and starring Melissa Molano and Mateo Mpindzi-Mott, is making its regional premiere at Stages Repertory Theatre and will close May 22, 2016.”

I AND YOU is an emotional roller coaster, it tugs at your heart, and it’s a story you won’t soon forget.

“I got the opportunity to sit down with Rachel Landon and Alli Villines to discuss SRO’s SPEAKEASY. Landon has written an immersive theatre experience featuring popular 1920’s era music, roaring dance numbers and a glimpse into the end of Prohibition. SPEAKEASY is about Texas, the female owner of a Chicago speakeasy club during the Prohibition era, and the various characters that frequent the club.

Houston is bursting at the seams with talented playwrights and writers. With original works being staged at every major theatre in Houston, along with budding organizations and events like the Fade To Black Series and Cone Man Running, SRO has joined the ranks of being known for producing engaging original works. Their previous original shows or revues include productions of HEARTBREAK U.S.A. and FEELIN’ ALRIGHT…”

Around the World - Alley Theatre

“The feel-good family friendly show is fast paced, well-performed, and will have you laughing out loud. The show is full of wit, quips, and charm. Todd Waite is Phileas Fogg, the wealthy nobleman who accepts the wager of journeying around the world in eighty days. Waite, in his 15th season as an Alley Company Artist, is witty, charming, courageous, and daring as he travels across countries and oceans, and as he encounters exciting characters. His presence, as always, commands the stage and seems to effortlessly carry us through the invigorating story line. Waite is well-supported by an equally amazing cast with impeccable comedic timing and skillful improvisation. Evan Zes is the high-energy and hilarious French valet, Passepartout. This is Zes’s debut on the Alley stage, and he delivers a knockout performance. Passepartout is quick on his feet, and is consistently looking out for the best interests of his master…”
